Job Overview
We are looking for a part-time Customer Service / Customer Support team member to help us support our users. This role is fully remote and ideal for someone who is patient, detail-oriented, and able to learn new tools and product knowledge quickly.
You will be the first point of contact for customers and play an important role in shaping their experience with Indy.
Responsibilities
• Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or other support channels in a timely and friendly manner
• Help users resolve basic product, account, billing, and usage questions
• Escalate technical or complex issues to the internal team when needed
• Clearly document customer issues, resolutions, and follow-ups
• Prepare and submit weekly support reports to management
• Follow support processes and contribute to improving FAQs or help docs and SOPs
• Maintain a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented tone in all customer interactions
Compensation
• $3/hour
Working Hours & Schedule
• Remote position
• Part-time
• Preferred working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (or overlapping with this window for team communication)
• Starting workload: 4–5 hours per day
• After onboarding and once familiar with the product: 1–2 hours per day
Training & Growth
• We will provide training for technical and product-related questions
• You are expected to learn quickly and apply new knowledge independently
• This role may grow in responsibility as you become more experienced
Requirements
• Previous experience in customer service or customer support is a plus
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to learn new tools, workflows, and product features quickly
• Patient, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Stable internet connection
• Experience supporting SaaS products is a plus
