<div><strong>Job Description</strong><br/><br/><strong>Job Description</strong><br/><ul><li>Architects, plans, engineers, and implements desktop virtualization technology and solutions.<br/>Manages end-user applications and software for desktops/laptops and applications hosted in the VDI environment.</li><li>Coordinates with network, server services, and security teams to resolve issues and ensure a consistent and compatible configuration across the client infrastructure.</li><li>Facilitates automated software deployment as well as image creation and compatibility.<br/>Ensures security compliance through patching, encryption, configuration management, remote device management, and reporting/visibility.</li><li>Resolves issues involving end-user hardware or software in the virtual environment.<br/>Coordinates with technicians to develop and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and performs/directs testing.</li><li>Researches, maintains, and applies expertise in emerging technologies, and industry developments, trends, best practices, and principles of VDI architectures.<br/>Develops knowledge articles related to VDI environments.</li></ul><br/><br/><strong>Qualifications</strong><br/><br/><strong>Required Qualifications</strong><br/><br/>It is required that the Virtual Desktop Engineer Senior have the following qualifications:<br/><ul><li>BA/BS</li><li>Five (5) or more years of related experience. Four (4) additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.</li><li>U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance.</li><li>DoD 8570 IAT Level II (ex. Comp TIA Security + w/CE.</li><li>VMware Certified Professional certification (Data Center v7 .x) with an emphasis on the Omnissa suite of offerings.</li></ul><br/>
