Typical time from pipeline to placement: 4–8 weeks.</p><p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong><br>• <strong>Claims handling</strong> - processing and managing STI claims from registration through to settlement across commercial lines<br>• <strong>Underwriting & portfolio</strong> - new business, renewals, endorsements, risk assessment and premium adjustments<strong><br>• Client & broker engagement</strong> - professional communication with brokers, clients and insurers, relationship-first<strong><br>• Compliance & administration</strong> - accurate records, regulatory alignment, invoicing and documentation<strong><br><br>What we need from you</strong><br>• Matric essential · degree or diploma advantageous<br>• FAIS compliant<br>• Minimum 2 years' experience in short-term insurance - claims, underwriting, <strong>or </strong>both<br>• Confident communicator - strong written and spoken English<br>• Comfortable working UK or Australian business hours<br>• Reliable fibre at home - minimum 50/50 Mbps<br>• South African citizen, currently based in South Africa<br><br><strong>Why ICS</strong><br>• International exposure without leaving South Africa<br>• Apply once - stay active in our network for all matching roles<br>• Small, responsive team that actually keeps you in the loop<br>• Access to modern insurance environments and global best practices<strong><br><br>How it works</strong><br>• Quick application - under 5 minutes.
