The Senior Analyst Corporate Finance is a key member of the JetBlue Treasury team and is responsible for day-to-day treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning, debt origination support and interest expense forecasting, managing our cash investment portfolio, and ensuring compliance with debt covenants, regulatory reporting requirements, and internal policies.
Responsibilities
Lead the redevelopment and enhancement of the Treasury team’s cash forecasting processes alongside the Treasury Manager, with the goal of improving forecasting accuracy
Maintain the interest expense model used for internal month-end close and external financial guidance setting; monitor monthly interest expense & income variances vs. budgets and external guidance, reporting to Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Develop monthly investment proposals, execute cash investments according to the cash investment policy, and prepare the monthly investment compliance report
Track all debt obligations and associated payments schedules in the master debt database; ensure that payments queued into the Treasury Management System (TMS) match the database forecast
Support the implementation of a new transaction manager module in our Treasury Management System (TMS), inputting new debt and investment instruments into TMS and liaising with Property Accounting to ensure that entries are being properly recorded
Manage quarterly and semi-annual asset appraisals, coordinating inputs from various internal stakeholders (e.g., Fleet, TechOps) and delivering timely appraisals to our banking partners
Prepare and support Request for Proposal’s (RFPs) for debt origination in partnership with the Fleet team; evaluate all financing alternatives, and prepare side-by-side analyses and recommendations for senior leadership
Create presentations and discussion materials for the senior leadership team and board of directors
Collaborate with internal and external audit and legal counsel to ensure compliance and robustness of audit processes

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
Three (3) years of related finance experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Advanced Excel modeling skills
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication including interactions with executive leadership
Available for occasional travel (10%)
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
Two (2) years of treasury, corporate finance experience, or experience in capital intensive industries
