[Remote] Junior Tax Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Business Financial Group (BFG) is a family-owned and operated professional accounting and Payroll Company based in Atlanta, GA, USA. They are seeking a Junior Tax Accountant to assist in preparing and submitting tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and offering expert advice on tax-related matters.

• Responsibilities
• Work with the Team Coordinator on project management and delivery
• Prepare Monthly/ Quarterly Profit and Loss accounts and Balance sheets
• Bank and Credit Card Account Reconciliation
• Manage and reconcile Balance Sheet Items
• Prepare Quarterly Individual and Business Tax Planning (We will train you on this)
• Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate with the Tax Manager for the annual Business Tax return preparation
• Prepare U.S Business and Personal Tax Returns (We will train you on this)
• Monthly/ Quarterly Sales Tax Preparation and Submission
• Prepare Yearly Business Property Tax Returns preparation
• Payroll Processing, Quarterly, and Annual Payroll Tax Return Preparation and Submission

• Skills
• CA Inter passed with Articleship emphasizing Accounting and Taxation
• Experience working with an accounting software package. (Tally, QuickBooks, Xero etc:)
• Strong General Ledger work experience and knowledge
• Good aptitude for Individual and Business Tax Preparation, Tax Planning, and Tax Research
• Excellent written and verbal knowledge in English
