About Me:
I’m a passionate K12 instructional leader with 20+ years of experience in school administration, coaching, teaching, and curriculum design. Currently, I’m managing a full-time leadership role and solo parenting a toddler while conducting a targeted job search. I’m seeking a sharp, organized research assistant to handle the legwork of finding and tracking job openings so I can focus on applying.
What You’ll Do (1–2 hours/week):
Search for current job openings in these categories:
Middle/High School Social Studies or History teaching positions (Westchester and Rockland County public schools via OLAS)
Independent schools within a 45-minute commute of Tarrytown, NY
Learning & Development roles
Education nonprofits and education policy organizations
Verify postings are current and actively accepting applications
Record key details for each live opening: organization, contact name, position title, posting date, application deadline, and link
Deliver findings weekly via a shared Google Sheet
Who You Are:
Detail-oriented and resourceful
Comfortable navigating multiple job boards and organizational websites
Reliable with strong organizational and communication skills
Able to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
How to Apply:
Send a brief note about your background and experience. Complete a sample search covering all listed categories and format your results in a simple spreadsheet. Spend about an hour on this task to demonstrate your skills. Please note: A completed sample search is required to be considered.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
