CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - (Days and Evening Shifts) - $24/hr

Immediate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) contract opportunities with our skilled nursing facility in Smithtown, NY.

Starting Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

Available Shifts:

• 7:30am - 3:30pm (Day)
• 3:30pm - 11:30pm (Evening)
• 5 shifts per week and every other Sat and Sun
• Will also consider candidates for part time, every Fri, Sat, Sun

Job Details:

• Provide patient care in accordance with nursing supervision and the given facility standards
• As directed by professional staff, moves, positions, lifts and transports residents in care using a variety of lifts and other aids in order to make them more comfortable, to prepare them for treatment and to deliver them to appropriate treatment facilities
• Complete timely and accurate clinical notes including addressing patient’s/client’s progress
• Assist in the transport of patients
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications:

• Current CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate
• One year of healthcare experience preferred
• One year of long term care experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
