Job Description

This is a remote position.

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
  • Complete tax forms
  • Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements

Requirements

  • Holds a degree in Finance (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses)
  • Has experience in Google Sheets and/or Excel
  • Has 3 to 6 months hands-on experience in Quickbooks
  • Familiar with accounting software packages like FreshBooks, Kashoo, and KashFlow
  • Solid understanding of US tax process and basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures, and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience in MS Office, spreadsheets, and proprietary software
  • Can work part-time EST hours
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
